Travel on the DB Regio Oberbayern special train into the ski paradise is amazingly stress-free: It runs from January 6 to April 9, 2012 and departs from the Munich central train station at 7:00 AM on Saturdays and Sundays and public holidays (January 6 and April 6 and 9, 2012). The trip from the Munich central train station to the bottom station of the Hausberg cable car in the Garmisch-Classic ski area only takes 82 minutes – without changing trains and free from the stress of traffic. Once you've reached your destination, you can hit the slopes immediately, because passengers already receive the ski pass on the train when they present the combo ticket.Prices:

The Garmisch Ski Ticket is new this winter: It is valid every day and for every regional train on the line from Munich central train station to the Garmisch-Partenkirchen train station. Once there, you can conveniently board the cogwheel train to the Hausberg, Kreuzeck and Alpspitze cable cars or continue into the Zugspitze glacier ski area. The ski pass for your ski jamboree is included in the price of the Combo Ticket and can be obtained conveniently at the Zugspitze train station in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.These daily connections let you enjoy unlimited World Cup-standard fun on the slopes – entirely free from the stress of traffic and rush.
