High above the clouds, the village with up to 20 igloos made of snow and ice provides polar romance on Zugspitze. On the roof of Germany, you are closer to the starry sky than anywhere else in the country.
Igloo Village welcomes you with a bar, a dedicated kitchen, two whirlpools/hot tubs and an extravagant homey feeling. An overnight stay is adventurous and snugly comfortable at the same time: Cuddly sleeping bags and sheepskins on expedition mats guaranty that nobody wakes up as an icicle. And if you shiver at the mere thought of indoor temperatures between 32°F (0°C), you can warm up in one of the whirlpools/hot tubs surrounded by the snow-covered landscape. Go star-gazing after sundown, on snowshoes over a white blanket of snow with the sparkling stars directly above.
You will find dinner with an original Swiss gourmet cheese fondue awaiting you after your walk.
